All Zehnder radiators are supplied ready for connection.
Unless there is no other remark, all connections are completed with female threads. If there is no other dimension given, the connections are supplied in ½' size. If ordered without a connection type, the tadiator will always be supplied with the relevant standard connection.
Plastic plugs that are screwed in for protecting the thread must be removed and replaced by an air vent or blind plug.
Coating of Zehnder radiators is recommended for water heating systems up to 120 °C. It is suitable for operation in district heating, low-temperature heating and combuster plants.
For avoiding reduced heat output, e.g. in case of opposite-end connections, blind plugs (diaphragm plates, deflector plates, baffle plates) are required. Detailed information is shown for the relevant product or can be ordered.
Distinguishing Zehnder radiators with the CE marking means that Zehnder radiators conform to the applicable European specification EN 442 and the products are subject to the prescribed conformity evaluation.

Finish painted radiators have a two-layer paint (according to DIN 55900, part 1 and 2, consisting of primer and finish paint layer).
The finish coating is a stove enamel powder coating. The high-quality Zehnder powder coating provides a particularly smooth and extremely durable surface.

For exact color matching please use original RAL color or NCS color samples or original color samples of the sanitaryware manufacturers.
Due to technical and production-related reasons, minor color deviations when colouring on steel are possible, also taking the light conditions into consideration. Deviations can also occur when comparing painted steel surfaces (radiators) with ceramic products. Radiators in metallic colors, for example, RAL 9006, RAL 9007, anthracite are unicums, and depending on the radiator, visual differences in color can occur.
The Datanorm contains the necessary data, e.g. prices and submission texts for generating tender specification and the quotations. Data records can be obtained free of cost from Zehnder or loaded directly from the Internet. (However, registration in the qualified dealer area is necessary)

Radiators that are installed, for example, in schools and kindergartens, must conform to the directives of the legal accident insurance. One of the requirements is that there should be no sharp edges and corners on the product.
